Mairtri Bagh is a Zoo as well as a park. It was developed by the Bhilai Steel Plant just beside two man made water bodies. The Bhilai Water Works is located quite close to Maitri Bagh, providing clear water to the township. Visitors flock the site to view the musical fountain and the shows held at the place. This park also features a number of gardens, a lake, a man made waterfall, a musical fountain and a toy train. The park also features a tower known as Pragati Minar, offering views of the Maitri Bagh Park and the steel plant.
