Rajasthan and Sirhind Canals are the enormous feeder systems located close to Faridkot. These were built for carrying water of Beas and Sutlej rivers to the dry lands of Punjab. Sirhind is one of the most oldest and biggest canals in the Indus River system. It is supposed to be about 150 years old.
