Kaushambi enjoys all the three seasons: summer, winter and monsoon.

The summer months include March to June, and during the peak month, the temperature can reach about 45°C together with hot winds.

The monsoon season is from July to September and is characterized by heavy intermittent rain falls. The weather during this period is wet and humid.

The winter season extends from December to February. The climate is mild and pleasant with temperatures ranging from 12°C to 20°. The town experiences freezing fog in the month January resulting in cancellation of flights and delay in trains.
