Kamasin Devi Temple is situated on the bank of a pond in a village called Gambheera Purb approximately 10 kilometers in the western side of the town of Mahajanpur, which is the administrative headquarter of Kaushambi district.
The temple is a favorite visiting destination of the people of the surrounding areas as well as from distant places.
Most people visit the temple in the belief that the darshan of the goddess Kamasin Devi blesses them with the fulfillment of all their wishes. The temple, therefore, remains a busy hub of the devotees and tourists all the year round.
